Keisha Courtney, MA, E-RYT, YACEP

I’m an advanced therapeutic yoga practitioner, death doula, and yoga therapist in training. My work is rooted in embodiment, holistic healing, and the transformative power of deep listening.

For much of my life, I was disconnected from my body while pursuing achievement. I was a competitive athlete, an Emmy®  Award-winning journalist, an accomplished communications and marketing professional, and an entrepreneur. I spent decades moving forward, often overriding what my body was trying to communicate.

Beneath the achievement, however, I was carrying profound grief from nearly two dozen deaths, the physical impact of years of overuse and injury, and the weight of conversations left unspoken. Eventually, my body began to break down. What followed was a profound spiritual awakening that became a pathway back to myself and my body.

Through my own healing, I came to understand that the body holds tremendous wisdom. When we learn to slow down, create space, and listen deeply, we can begin to access the answers and resources already within us.

I work with individuals one-on-one, using the tools of yoga to support people navigating physical, psychological, somatic, emotional, and spiritual distress. I also work in the space of grief and death, supporting individuals and families as they navigate some of life's most profound transitions.

If you are moving through grief, a major life transition, or looking for a way to release old patterns in the body and psyche, I look forward to working with you.
